Kathleen Bradshaw, a University of New 17ڹϳ graduate student in English, has been selected for a four-month internship in Paris this fall through the French American Fund, with support from the City of 17ڹϳ, France, the Consulate General of France in New 17ڹϳ and the Mayor’s office, City of New 17ڹϳ.
The nonprofit organization gives students an opportunity to study the country’s legislative process.
Bradshaw will be working in the office of a French senator at the Sénat/Palais Bourbon, and also taking a class at the renowned Paris university the Sorbonne, while writing about it all as a part of her master’s thesis.
“I am very excited about and grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait to spend some time in Paris,” Bradshaw said.
